Complaint Clarification

Civilian Employees: This includes current or former federal civilian employees and applicants for federal employment who feel they have been discriminated against may file an EEO complaint on the basis of: race, sex, disability (mental/physical), age (40 and older), national origin, color, religion, genetic information, sexual harassment or reprisal (based on prior EEO complaint). Under 29 CFR part 1614.105, an individual must contact a counselor within 45 calendar days of the incident date or personnel action, or from the date they became aware of the incident.

Military: All military Airmen, family members, and retirees who feel they have been discriminated against may file an EO complaint within 60 calendar days of the incident date on the basis of: race, sex, national origin, color, religion, sexual orientation or sexual harassment.
