  • TRICARE Referral Delays  Please be advised United Healthcare (1-877-988-9378) is experiencing higher than anticipated call volumes and referral inquiries from patients throughout the TRICARE western region. United staff are working hard to process referral authorizations and answer questions as quickly and accurately as possible. If you have questions or concerns regarding a civilian healthcare referral that you have been unable to resolve by phone, please visit the 673 Medical Group's TRICARE Service Center for assistance. It is located on the 2nd floor of the JBER Hospital near the Moose entrance, and is open 0730-1630 Mon-Fri. Thank you for your patience.

  • It's that time of year again! We recommend all children receive their well child exams, school physicals, and sports physicals from their assigned clinic team at JBER PediatricClinic or Family Health Clinic. Click here to see the flyer.

  • On 1 April 2013, the TRICARE contract will transition from TriWest Healthcare Alliance to UnitedHealthcare Military and Veterans (United). For all referral/authorization and claims questions for services prior to April 1st, you will continue to call TriWest at 1-888-874-9378. On April 1st, please contact United for all general TRICARE questions, referral/authorization, claims, etc. at 1-877-988-9378 or at www.uhcmilitarywest.com. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact the TRICARE office at the 673d MDG at 580-6400. Thank you.

  • Your pharmacy needs you!    The 673d Medical Group Pharmacy seeks volunteers to help provide outstanding customer service to our beneficiaries. Volunteers are critical team members of pharmacies across the Air Force. As a pharmacy volunteer, you can help perform many valuable tasks, such as bagging, shelving, or handing out medication to our retired and active duty Soldiers and Airmen, and their families. For many people that receive care at the 673d Medical Group, the pharmacy is the last stop. As a volunteer, you can help make their visit to the pharmacy a great one! If you are interested, please contact Captain Christina McQuaide in the pharmacy at (907) 580-6807. You can also email Captain McQuaide at christina.mcquaide@elmendorf.af.mil. All 673d Medical Group volunteers are sponsored by the American Red Cross. Thank you!

  • The 673 MDG is closed every third Thursday of the month for Medical Readines Training starting at 1200 hrs to 1700 hrs. Emergency Services will remain open for emergency or urgent care.
