How can I request a base tour?
The 3rd Wing Community Relations office conducts tours on the first Friday of every month. To schedule a group for one of these tours, call the Community Relations office at 907-552-8014, or
e-mail a request. Requests must be received at least 30 days in advance of the monthly scheduled tour.
Due to manning and security concerns, we do not offer last-minute or drop-in tours. Additionally, we do not give tours on weekends or holidays.
Who can attend a tour?
Our tours are for people ages 12 and up. All tours are scheduled in advance and only those people who are on the list will be allowed on the tour, due to space limitations.
Non-U.S. citizens, who wish to attend a tour, must coordinate with the 3rd Wing Community Relations office at 907-552-8014 at least 30 days in advance.
Can a tour be canceled?
Public Affairs will maintain a list of individuals and groups requesting a tour. This list will include contact information in the event there is a change on the time or cancellation.
Tours are subject to change or may be canceled, with little or no notice, due to mission requirements or inclement weather.
