ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska - Members from the 3rd Civil Engineer Squadron drill a pole into the ground for the foundations of a mobile aircraft arrest system barrier June 5. This barrier will assist inbound and outbound aircraft to stop during emergency situations. This barrier will assist inbound and outbound aircraft to stop during emergency situations. This barrier, on runway 3-4, was put in place due to the repairs of runway 2-4.
